Web Designer & Developer

Job brief

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of client website. The responsibilities include building client website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

Responsibilities

• Create bespoken UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc
• Should be well in jQuery, JSON, AJAX, etc.
• Good to have knowledge in either AngularJS or ReactJS
• Knowledge of using various web services and protocols
• Intermediate knowledge of photo editing software like Photoshop.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

• Write well explained and clean code in core PHP.
• At least 2 years of experience in CodeIgniter.
• Good understanding of MySQL (mysqli) and SQL Server (sqlsrv)
• Proven skills in creating and calling API
• Payment Gateway Integration and security.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in Web Development
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with at least one of the following PHP framework: CodeIgniter, Laravel, etc.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools

• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation process
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• Bachelor in Computer Science or a related field

Contract

24 months contract or 3 months notice
